Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Application

Within the scope of teaching services provided by 1zu1Deutsch, the following General Terms and Conditions apply to contracting parties. Deviating conditions require written confirmation by 1zu1Deutsch to be effective.

2. Contract Conclusion

A contract is concluded when a contracting party uses teaching services from 1zu1Deutsch after an explicit offer including these Terms and Conditions has been previously submitted in written form by 1zu1Deutsch. By using the teaching services, the contracting party agrees to the offer and the general terms and conditions.

3. Scope of Services

• a) The scope of contractual services is determined by the description of the teaching offer presented before contract conclusion.
• b) Appointment arrangements are made informally, either verbally or in writing, between contracting parties and 1zu1Deutsch.
• c) Teaching time is specified in teaching hours. One teaching hour corresponds to 45 minutes.
• d) Teaching can take place on-site as well as online.

4. Payment Terms

• a) The amount of the total fee for booked lessons is determined by the offer submitted in writing by 1zu1Deutsch before contract conclusion.
• b) For the "quick lesson" pricing model, the total fee for booked hours is due before the start of lessons.
• c) For the "intensive package" pricing model, the total fee is calculated before the start of lessons.
• d) When booking lesson subscriptions, a down payment is due before the start of lessons.
• e) Prices for companies vary depending on the specificity of the lessons and administrative effort and are negotiable.
• f) Due fees must generally be transferred in euros by bank transfer after invoice issuance. Any resulting bank charges must be borne by the contracting party.

5. Withdrawal from Contract and Cancellation

• a) Booking of teaching time is binding.
• b) Changes require written form.
• c) Withdrawal by the contracting party is generally not possible.
• d) In exceptional cases, withdrawal may be granted.
• e) Appointments cancelled by 1zu1Deutsch do not count as taken.
• f) Agreed appointments can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance.

6. Special Agreements

In individual cases, special agreements may be made that deviate from these conditions.

7. Place of Performance, Jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is Cologne. German law applies.

8. Severability Clause

Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
